Why we built KenyaCandidates
Every five years Kenya goes to the polls. Millions of voters make decisions that shape their communities, counties and country for the next half decade. Yet finding clear, accurate information about who is running and what they stand for has always been unnecessarily difficult.
KenyaCandidates exists to change that. We believe every Kenyan voter deserves easy access to information about every candidate running in their ward, constituency and county — from the MCA who will manage their local services all the way to the Governor who leads their county government.
We also believe that candidates — especially first time aspirants — deserve affordable, professional tools to run credible campaigns. Our campaign services arm exists to level the playing field and give every serious candidate the visibility they deserve regardless of their budget.
